Promoting Grassroot Women in Agriculture in Nigeria (PROgWAN) is a training targeted at building the capacities of 10,000 women farmers across Nigeria over a period of 5 years. The flagship, which aims to pilot the program within the first 12 months effective 2025, will take place in Kano State before hitting the streets of the remaining selected States. The training promised to deliver hands-on skills in climate-smart agriculture, post-harvest handling and processing, including agribusiness skills development while also introducing the use of clean energy technologies to boost productivity and income generation in a sustainable manner.
